Stanley Wright 81, of Louisa, Ky. went to be with the Lord, Monday March 15th, 2004 at his home.
Mr. Wright was born January 17th, 1923 in Lawrence County, Kentucky. A son of the late Mart L. Wright and Erie Jobe Wright. He was retired from Fischer Body a division of General Motors. He attended Webb Chapel Church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served in WWII. He was also a Kentucky Colonel.
Mr Wright is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Gladys Burchett Wright, 2 sons and daughters-in-law Samuel R. (Frances) Wright and Stanley Wayne (Linda) Wright both of Louisa, Ky., 5 daughters and sons-in-law Sandra (Donald) Wilks, Sharon (David) Maynard, Pamela (Noah) Wilks, Patricia (Arnold) Young all of Louisa, Ky. and Theresa (Luther) Chaffin of Webbville, Ky. A sister Alma King of Columbus, Ohio, 4 sister-in-laws Minnie Preece Wright, Edna Webb Wright, Helen Berry Wright and Ruth Wright. 27 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 4 step Great Grandchildren and a step Great Great Grandson. Many Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Wright was preceded in death by a sister Minnie Angeletti and 4 brothers Elisha Wright, Charles Wright, Leland (Bobe) Wright and Randall Dick Wright.
Mr. Wright will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday March 18th, 2004 at Wilson Funeral Home by Pastor Ralph Hogston, Bro. David Henderson and Bro. Paul Cox.
Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery at Louisa, Ky.
