Elmer Joe Carter Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1910 - 2004 ELMER JOE CARTER AGE 93 OF FALLSBURG, KY. PASSED AWAY MONDAY JUNE 21ST AT CARTER NURSING HOME IN GRAYSON, KY. ELMER WAS BORN OCTOBER 4, 1910 IN LOUISA, KY. THE SON OF THE LATE JOSEPH AND LILLIE RICHARDS CARTER. HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SON BILL CARTER. ELMER WAS A FARMER AND ATTENDED THE METHODIST CHURCH. SURVIVORS ARE: 4 DAUGHTERS: GARNET MILLER, LILLIE TAYLOR, LOU CLARKSTON, AND ANN LOWE A STEP DAUGHTER: JOYCE MCPEEK 5 SONS: JOE, CARL, WILLARD, FRANCIS, AND TOM CARTER A STEP SON: DARRELL PRESLEY. A SISTER: CORA E. CARTER Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday June 24th at Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Everett Stevens. Burial will follow in the Harmon Cemetery at Fallsburg, Kentucky. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home.
