GROVER J. THOMPSON age 82 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Monday August 2, 2004 at his home.

Grover was born March 23, 1922 at Norris, Ky. The son of the late Robert C. and Isabelle Burton Thompson. He was a Retired Ky. State Highway Employee and a Dairy Farmer. A WWII U.S. Army Veteran and a member and a Deacon of the Mary United Baptist Church.

Grover was preceded in death by His wife: Violet Thompson who died in 1999

4 Sisters: Kernetta Thompson, Erie Ball, Frankie Hayes and Hope Moore

2 Brothers: Robert E. Thompson and Howard Thompson

Survivors include:

4 Daughters: Betty Castle of Louisville, Ky., Shirley (Darrell) Baldwin and Earlene (Harold) Baldwin both of Staffordsville, Ky. and Kathy (Granville) Senters of Louisa, Ky.

4 Sons: Henry (Carolyn) Thompson, Billy (Mae) Thompson, James (Eva) Thompson and Ronnie (Virginia) Thompson all of Louisa, Ky.

3 Sisters: Goldie Lambert-Kitzmiller of Columbus, Ohio, Carrie Snyder of Ambridge, Penn. And Fannie Haun of Alcoa, Tenn.

24 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday August 6th at 11:00 am at Wilson Funeral Home by Elders James Daniels, Frank Blevins and Perry Moore. Burial followed in the Judd Cemetery at Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends are calling now at Wilson Funeral Home.
