Ethel Parsley Johnson

Ethel Parsley Johnson 81 of Penrose, N.C. formerly of Kermit, W. Va. passed away Monday November 29, 2004 at Penrose, N.C.

Born March 11, 1924 to the late Wayne and Rosa Fields Parsley, she was a homemaker and a member of Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband who died in 1991, Robert Johnson; a daughter, Pauline Ferguson; a stepson, Bryant Johnson; a sister, Hazel Perry; and 2 brothers, Albert and Birdie Parsley.

Surviving are her five daughters, Loucresia Waller of Kermit, W. Va., Juanita Mathis of N.C., Ledonna Messer of Columbus, Ohio, Grethel Hooper of N.C., and Rebecca Frye of Wayne, W. Va.;

Four sons, Archie Johnson of Kermit, W. Va., Arvil Johnson of Fort Gay, W.Va., Danny Johnson and Roger Johnson both of Kermit, W. Va.; Three Sisters, Ora Fields, Ellen Horn, and Daisy Fields all of Kermit, W. Va.; A brother, Joe Marcum of Kermit, W. Va.; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday December 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at Marrowbone Church of God in Jesus Christ with Bro. Paul Messer officiating. Burial will follow at the Frank Fitch Cemetery at Marrowbone, W. Va.

Friends may call anytime Thursday and until time of service at the church.
