Russell "Gene" Dixon Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1929 - 2005 Russell "Gene" Dixon 75 of Meades Branch passed away Thursday January 27th at Three Rivers Medical Center. Gene was born November 3, 1929 at Louisa, Ky. the son of the late George and Minnie Scarberry Dixon. He was retired from the military. Survivors include: His wife: Joyce Kise Dixon 2 Daughters: Karen Dixon and Vickie (Don) Shannon 3 Sons: Ernie (Carla) Dixon, James Dixon, and Mark Dixon 14 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren Funeral services were conducted on Sunday January 30th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Willie Gene Hayes and Rev. Jim Bevins. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery at Meades Branch. Friends may call after 2:00 pm Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home.
