Martha Johnson FyffeMartha Johnson Fyffe, age 92, of Louisa, went to rest with the Lord on January 29, 2005. She was born on October 6, 1912 at Webbville, Kentucky to the late Alex and Sarah Berry Johnson. She is survived by one son, Charles, and his wife Laura of Louisa. Her husband, Fred, her great granddaughter, Megan, and her other two sons, Willis and Gale, preceded her in death. Their wives, Marilyn of Carroll, Ohio and Anna Jo of Louisa survive. Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren mourn the loss of their “Mamaw”. The grandchildren are Charles Jr., Vivian, and Jason of Louisa; John of Lancaster, Ohio; Laura of Roswell, Georgia; and Candace of Pickerington, Ohio. The greats are Joel, Elizabeth, Sarah, Olivia, and Jase.

Martha had many friends who loved her and will miss her presence at the JJ Jordan Geriatric Center where she had lived for the past three years. Many old neighbors and friends along with several nieces and nephews will mourn her loss. Martha was the last of the eleven Johnson children to survive. Wayne, Damer, Andrew, Thomas, L.D., John, Austin, Della, Brookie, and Elizabeth preceded her. The family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa on Monday, January 31st after 4:00 pm. The funeral will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday February 1st at 2:00 pm with the Reverend Ric Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Fyffe Family Cemetery at Flat Gap, Ky.
