Felix Diamond Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1932 - 2005 FELIX DIAMOND 1932-2005 FELIX DIAMOND 73 of Fort Gay, W.V. passed away Friday April 15, 2005 at Three Rivers Medical Center. Felix was born February 16, 1932 at Twin Branch Lawrence County, Ky. The son of the late Dewey and Iona Spillman Diamond. He was a Laborer. He was preceded in death by brothers: Dewey Lee, Bascom, Herbert J., Arlie, and Paul Ray Diamond. Survivors include: A Sister: Hallie (John) O’Daniel of Louisa, Ky. 5 Brothers: James Lewis Diamond of Columbus, Ohio, Amon Diamond of Flatwoods, Ky. Dennis Diamond, Ernest Diamond, and Charlie Diamond all of Dayton, Ohio. A Graveside Service was Conducted Monday April 18th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the JJ Cemetery by Rev. Mike Cox. Burial followed in the JJ Cemetery at Meades Branch, Ky. Wilson Funeral was in charge of arrangements.

I am the grandson of Paul Ray Diamond. I never had the priviledge, nor the opportunity to meet my great-uncle Felix, however I heard Pap talk about him often. I can remember hearing the stories of the boys working hard and playing when they had a chance, and I regret that I never knew this man. My condolances to the family.
