Hershel Leroy “Lee” Hughes age 70 passed away on Saturday June 24th following a sudden illness.
Lee was born May 24, 1936 in Lawrence County, the son of Eula Compton Hughes and the late Homer Hughes.
He was retired from the United States Army serving 20 years and as a employee of the CSX Railroad.
In addition to his mother, Lee is survived by his loving wife:

2 Grandchildren

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday June 27th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Jerry Hughes. Entombment followed in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, Kentucky
