Margaret Marie Campbell age 86 of Fort Gay, WV. Went to be with the Lord on Thursday July 27, 2006.
Margaret was born June 4, 1920 in Saltpetre, WV. The daughter of the late Garland and Gussie Wellman Spears. She was a retired cook for the Wayne County Board of Education, a homemaker, and member of the Saltpetre Christian Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Campbell who died on Feb. 25, 1999.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Audine and Harold Maynard of Fort Gay, WV., a son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Sandy Campbell of Fort Gay, WV., a sister, Dollie Rose of Fort Gay, WV., and a brother Arville Spears of Fort Gay, WV., 4 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday July 30th at 2:00 pm at the Saltpetre Christian Baptist Church by Rev. Richard Maynard and Rev. Rick May. Burial will follow in the Campbell Family Cemetery at Fort Gay, WV.
