I am a distant cousin of Greenville and we used to discuss family history. My GGrand Father was Ralph Cordle, and his son David was my Grand Father. If anyone reads this and keeps up with Cordle History, please contact me. Greenville and I were the same age within 10 days.

Although I haven't lived in Louisa for over twenty years, I have a lot of fond memories. One of which was Mr. Cordle. He was my history teacher at LCHS and I remember him being such a nice, kind person. He was a positive influence in my life and I'm sorry for the loss of this wonderful man. My condolences to the family.

Phyllis I am so sorry for your lost. I had talked to Greenville about a month ago and he seemed like he was doing better. He even mentioned going to some of the family cemeteries with us. We didn't call or stop when we came down because I talked to someone at the resturant and they told me Greenville had just got out of the hospital. I was afraid our visit might be to much.
