Joe E. Maynard 68 of Clifford, Ky. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 17, 2007.
Joe was born February 28, 1939 in Lawrence County Kentucky, the son of the late Charley L. and Dolly Elizabeth Lemaster Maynard. He was a disabled, and last worked for Martiki Mining. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Cyrus Maynard; two sons and daughters-in-laws James K. and Karen, and Joe C. and Cindy both of Louisa; two sisters Geneva Cadle of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, and Fannie Caperton of Louisa, three brothers Lester Maynard of Elmore, Ohio, Wayne and Paul Maynard both of Louisa; three Grandchildren James K. Maynard II, Bryan Edmond Maynard, and Lindsey Ellen Maynard.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday April 21st at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Revs. Ric Frazier and Roger Jordan. Burial will follow in the Maynard Family Cemetery. Friends may call 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday at Wilson Funeral Home.
