Gertrude Moore Smith Gertrude Moore Smith age 85 of Route 707 Louisa, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 16th following a long illness.

Gertrude was born June 15, 1921 in Martin County Kentucky the daughter of the late Flem and Rebecca Taylor Moore. She was a homemaker and member of the United Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Smith who died in 1996 and 2 Daughters Daisy Hunt and Polly Spence.

Survivors include, 6 Daughters: Flossie Raines, Thelma Nunley, Josephine Kazee, Nancy Fields, Nellie Spence and Betty Smith

2 Sons: Allen and Albert Smith

3 Sisters: Geneva Storner, Frankie Jean Harmon, and Oretha Rose

1 Brother: Thurman Moore

29 Grandchildren, 43 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great GrandDaughter and a host of friends.

Funeral service were conducted on Friday May 18th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Elder Albert King. Burial followed in the Smith Cemetery at Inez, Kentucky.
