Larry Joe Runyon age 64 of Louisa, Ky. went to be with the Lord on Sunday afternoon July 22, 2007 following a long illness.
Larry was born March 1, 1943 in Kermit, WV., the son of the late Roy and Evelyn Jones Runyon. He was a retired coal miner and member of the Catalpa FWB Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Fields Runyon
2 Sons: Kevin (Mona) Runyon of Inez, Ky. and Joey (Christy) Runyon of Beauty, Ky.
2 Step Sons: Rob Sammons of Morehead, Ky. and Josh (Jennifer) Sammons of Georgetown, Ky.
3 Sisters: Patricia Igo, Sheila Kay Bowen, and Joan Crank all of Kermit, WV.
6 Brothers: Leroy Runyon of Williamson, WV., Richard Runyon of Pigeon Roost, Ky., Chester Runyon of Delbarton, WV., Wilburn Dean Runyon of Lexington, Ky., Charles Cecil Runyon of Williamson, WV., and Roger Runyon of Kermit, WV.
4 Grandchlldren
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Maynard Runyon, a Grandson, Larry Jacob Runyon, and 2 Brothers Lewis Ray Runyon and Wendell Glen Runyon.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday July 25th at 1:00 pm at the Catalpa FWB Church by Rev. Mike Cox. Burial followed in the Greenlawn Cemtery at Louisa, Kentucky.
