Martha Magdeline Jordan 77 of Blaine, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Friday November 9th. Martha was born April 2, 1930 at Glade Springs, Virginia, the daughter of the late Fred and Maggie Lester Quesenberry. She was a homemaker, member of the Bethel Church, and volunteered at Three Rivers Medical Center for 18 years.
Her husband Edgel Jordan who died in 1988, two sons Harold and Hobie Jordan, preceded her in death.
Family members surviving her are three loving daughters, Brenda Upthegrove of Lexington, Kentucky, Betty Slone of Adams, Kentucky, and Wanda Jordan of Garland, Texas; a loving son, Larry Jordan of Blaine, Kentucky; four sisters, Jamie Moore of Schenectady, New York, Fairy Mae Bryant of Lawton, Oklahoma, Shirley Quesenberry of Blaine, Kentucky, and Patsy Mazzone of Hernando, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grand daughter.
Revs. Roger Jordan, Randy Martin, and Lenny Wheeler will conduct funeral services for Mrs. Jordan on Monday November 12th at 2:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Jordan Family Cemetery at Blaine, Kentucky. Friends are calling after 3:00 pm Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home.
