Ryan Seth Hawkins 14 of Blaine, Kentucky passed away on Saturday December 15th at Roxanna, Kentucky as a result of a hunting accident.
Ryan was born on November 25, 1993 at Pikeville, Kentucky, the son of Colleen Sluss Griffith and Anthony Hawkins. He was an 8th grade student at Blaine Elementary School. He was musically inspired by Rodney Cantrell of Tennessee and Greg Fleenory of Ashcamp, Kentucky.
He is survived by his father, Anthony Hawkins of Ashcamp, Kentucky; his mother and step father Colleen and Rick Griffith of Blaine, Kentucky; three sisters Andrea Cantrell and Samantha Cantrell both of Blaine, Kentucky and Leighane Tomlin of Grapevine, Kentucky; Paternal Grandparents James and Carol Hawkins of Draffin, Kentucky, Paternal Grandmother Martha and Ed Harris of Jenkins, Kentucky, and Grandma Lynn Cantrell of Ashcamp, Kentucky, Nephew Adrien Witham, and Girlfriend Tylan Roberts, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His Maternal Grandparents Vernon and Coon Sluss preceded him in death.
Rev. Charles Price and Rev. Tommy England will conduct funeral services on Wednesday December 19th at 11:00 am at the Blaine Elementary School. Burial will follow in the Hawkins Family Cemetery at Sycamore, Kentucky.
Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday December 17th and from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm Tuesday December 18th at Wilson Funeral Home.
