Harold  ByrdHarold Byrd 84, of Wooster, Ohio went to be with the Lord Friday January 11, 2008. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on June 8, 1923, to Robert A. and Virginia Kirklin Byrd. He served in the Army-Aviation Battalion and retired from truck driving in 1985.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Gary (Sherry) Byrd of Wooster, Ohio, Arthur Rick and Kathi Byrd of Apple Creek, Ohio, and daughter-in-law and caregiver Cindy Byrd also of Wooster, Ohio with whom he resided.

Brothers, Paul Bass Lewis of Joliet, IL. Wade Jack and Bernice Byrd of Taylor, Michigan, Raymond and Bernadine Byrd of Catlettsburg, Ky.

Sister, Ginger (Jerry) Moore of Keavy, Kentucky

9 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren

Harold was preceded in death by his wife Martha McDaniels Byrd, a son Robert, Brothers, Billy Joe (Infant), Floyd, Charlie, a sister Virgie (17 mths) and an infant Great Great Grandchild.

Rev. John Luttrell will conduct funeral services on Tuesday January 15th at 11:00 am at the Coxton Missionary Baptist Church at Coxton, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the McDaniels  Putny Cemetery at Putny, Kentucky. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday January 14th at the Coxton Missionary Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home, Louisa, Kentucky.
