Millard is the man that inspired my life, when I was 18, I worked for him at AEP he taught me more in 4 months than I had learned in 12 years at school. I am thankful that I was working for him at AEP again last year and this spring. Since that summer in 1983 he and I were close friends. He was like a dad to me. It hurts so much to give him up, our loss is HEAVENS gain. I never met a better man in my life. May God Bless his family and friends. I love Millard and cherish the memories. If I can ever do anything to help the Jackson family, just tell me, don't ask because the answer is YES!! Jimmy and Kathy Castle..and Castle's Lawn service employees. (Tim See, Bill Preston, Tim Ellis, Mark Ellis, Dustin Roe, Donnie Dickerson, and Pat DeBoard).

When we first met up with Millard (or Mid as my husband, Ron, called him) he was just a young teenager who more or less "adopted" us. He turned out to be a wonderful, caring person that everyone loved. He was a special human being and will be sorely missed by family, friends, co-workers, and anyone who knew him. My love, prayers, and condolences go to the loving family he left behind.

In the short time which I have been professionaly associated with Millard I must say that I've never known anyone more patient and easy-going than this man. It has certainly been a learning experience on my part to know a person like Millard. He displayed kindness and understanding in situations which many people would have shared bitterness and anger. He will be sorely missed by those of us who have known him as a friend and a mentor.

One of the kindest moments of my life was extended to me by Millard. My Father had committed suicide, and Millard saw me at Lisa's restaurant and put his hand on my shoulder and said,"I'm sorry to hear about your daddy".So simple but with such compassion and sympathy that it was the kindest words I had experienced for such a long time. I will miss Millard.
