Darwin  Blackburn Sr.Darwin "Bo" Henry Blackburn Sr. 68 of Blaine, Kentucky passed away Thursday April 17, 2008 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

Darwin was born July 20, 1939, in Braeholm, WV, the son of the late Herman and Virdie Hunt Blackburn. He was retired from Ford Motor Company at Brookpark, Ohio, United States Army Vietnam Veteran, member of the American Legion Post 89, and of the Protestant Faith.

He is survived by his wife Anna Rae Starr Blackburn, a son Darwin Henry Blackburn Jr.(Sheri) of Blaine, Ky., two daughters Lisa Ann Blackburn-Wheeler (Jamie) of Blaine, Kentucky and Samantha Janel Blackburn also of Blaine, Ky.; three grandchildren Derek Austin Murphy, Travis Dylan Blackburn, and Jamie Dallas Wheeler, two sisters Pauline Workman of Davenport, Florida and Donna Sue Pratt of Elyria, Ohio; six brothers Glen Blackburn of Coshocton, Ohio, Emerson Lee Blackburn of Grafton, Ohio, Bob Blackburn of Wellington, Ohio, Roy Joe Blackburn of Grafton, Ohio, Bill Blackburn of Medina, Ohio, and Bradley Foch Blackburn of Mattie, Ky.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday April 21st at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Gary Bo Starr. Burial followed in the Blackburn Family Cemetery at Blaine, Kentucky

Anna Rae I am so sorry for your loss. I regret that we won't be able to make it in for the services but I just got out of the hospital and still recooperating. Just know that my love and prayers are with you and your family at this time. We love you all Your cousin Darlene
