Okie Stephens 87 of Louisa, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday June 17th. Okie was born December 15, 1920 in Elliott County, Kentucky, the son of the late Rubon and Della Blanton Stephens. He was a farmer, served in the United States Army during World War II, and a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife Samantha Magdalene Sparks Stephens, a son Edsal Stephens and a Granddaughter Christina Workman.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday June 19th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa.
