Mavis Lola Borders Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1922 - 2008 Mavis Lola Borders 86 of Wurtland, Kentucky passed away Saturday June 7th at the Wayne Nursing Home. Mavis was born June 6, 1922 at Fort Gay, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Pierce and Cora Blevins Webb. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Arvil Webb, Truman Webb, Chester Webb and three sisters, Edna Grant, Augusta Smith, and Okey Grant. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a special niece and caregiver Sherry Williams of Fort Gay, a brother Edgle Webb of Fort Gay, and other family members. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday June 18th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Bellefonte Memorial Gardens at Flatwoods, Kentucky.

I'll miss you very much, wish I could have come up there. I remember all the good times we had when I would stay with you as a teenager oh no that was 50 years ago. Will see you again one of these days with the rest of our loved one,s. Love Ya Reba

Mavis was a beautiful lady and became a dear friend to me at the nursing home. She will be missed dearly. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
