Betty Lou VanHorn

Betty Lou VanHorn 69 of Louisa, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2008 following a brief illness. Betty was born August 19, 1938 in Webbville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Dan and Madge Roberts Cox. Two brothers Paul Ray and James Edward Cox and a granddaughter Stacy Michelle Chaffin also preceded her in death.

Surviving is her husband of 52 years, Ira G. VanHorn , one son Edward Pete (Darlene) VanHorn of Louisa, Kentucky, six daughters Sandra (Ben) Burchett of Webbville, Kentucky, Vicki (Gary) Webb, Marsha (Tracy) Chaffin, Teresa (Lonnie) Senters, Kimberly (Derek) Salyers all of Louisa, Kentucky, and Linda (Mike) Barnwell of Rush, Kentucky. Also surviving is one brother, Jackie L. (Denise) Cox of Webbville, Kentucky, four sisters Joy (Robert) Williams of Cannonsburg, Kentucky, Kaye (David) McDavid and Dinah (Rick) Bustetter of Grayson, Kentucky, and Charlotte Thompson of Ashland, Kentucky. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren. 18 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and a host of family, friends and neighbors.

Rev. Ralph Hogston, Rev. Noah Wilks, and Bro. Ronnie Workman will conduct funeral services on Monday July 7th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the VanHorn Family Cemetery at Louisa, Kentucky. Friends may call after 4:00 pm Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home.

Betty will be missed...but always remembered...Teresa you and your family are in our thoughts...I will always be there for you...I know Stacy is glad to meet with her granny again..I miss her more every day...
