Dixie M. Cordle Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1920 - 2008 Dixie M. Cordle 88 of Blaine, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Thursday afternoon July 17, 2008. Dixie was born at Blaine on February 17, 1920, the daughter of the late Sam and Rachel Wheeler Wells. She was a retired teachers aid at the Blaine School and a homemaker. Dixie belonged to the Cordell Freewill Baptist Church and the Eastern Star #202 at Blaine, Ky. having served as Past Matron. She is survived by her husband M. J. Cordle Jr., a sister Rebecca Wilson, and three brothers Russell Wells, Homer Wells, and Ben Wells. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday July 20th at 11:00 am at the Cordell FWB Church by Revs. Roger Jordan, Rick Cordial, and Bonda Salyers. Burial followed in the Bryant Cemetery at Blaine, Kentucky.

I will always remember Dixie as a loving friend who showed compassion to all. God needed another angel and I am sure the angels in Heaven are rejoicing.My sympathy to the entire family.
