William Thomas Bowens 54 of Louisa, Ky. passed away on Sunday September 7, 2008 at Jenkins, Kentucky.
William was born May 14, 1954 in Franklin Furnace, Ohio, the son of Ruth Setser Sunday and the late Nim Bowens. He was a disabled construction worker.
Survivors include his wife Fontell May Bowens, mother Ruth Sunday, four daughters Johnda Elsea, Carolyn Castleberry, Tonya Ross, Tiffany Booth, two sons Thomas Ray Bowens and William Brian Bowens, five sisters Patricia Banks, Anetta Bowens, Linda Pate, Susie Marsiolette, and Loraine Vance, four brothers Lee Bowens, David Bowens, Nim Bowens Jr. and Rodney Bowens, eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson Daniel Castleberry.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Terry Lykins at 1:00 pm Thursday September 11th at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Setser Cemetery at Fallsburg, Kentucky.
