Ben Burke Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1930 - 2008 Ben Burke 77 passed away Thursday September 11th at Saint Marys Medical Center. Ben was born September 13, 1930 in Lawrence County Kentucky, the son of the late Jim and Virlie Endicott Burke. He was also preceded in death by a sister Maggie Sloan, two brothers Jimmy Earl and Mack and two nephews Kevin and Michael. Ben was a heavy equipment operator. Survivors include his wife Violet Ferguson Burke, two nephews Joe Burke and Charles Sloan, a niece Teddy Sloan, two great nieces Kaylyn Williams and Jennifer Harris, and two great nephews Michael Burke and Thomas Sloan. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday September 13th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Thomas and Rev. Noah Robertson officiating. Burial followed in the See Cemetery at Louisa.

Ben was a good friend of our's in the early 60's, our group of friend's had alot of fun.. He was a good man and will be forever missed.
