George Norman Howell Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1923 - 2008 George Norman Howell 85 of Glenwood, passed away Thursday October 2nd 2008 at Courthouse Manor following a long illness. George was born April 28, 1923 at Glenwood, Kentucky, the son of the late Henry and Lottie Bowling Howell. He was a farmer and served in the United States Army during Korea. Survivors include his wife Jewell Carroll Howell, two daughters Brenda Kay Howell and Rosemary Howell, three sons Gary Belcher Howell, Lenwood Howell, and George Franklin Howell, a sister Nora Wells, and a brother Hager Howell, 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. George was preceded in death by a daughter Marcella Howell. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday October 5th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Howell Cemetery at Glenwood, Kentucky.
