Everett Lyons 78 of Charley, Kentucky passed away on Monday October 13, 2008 at Three Rivers Medical Center.
Everett was born February 5, 1930 at Ulysses, Kentucky the son of the late George and Nolda Edward Lyons. He was a logger and timberman and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Edwards Lyons who died in 1997.
Survivors include a son Everett Lyons Jr., two sisters Laura Abshire and Marie Church, two brothers Oakley and Arthur Lyons, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday October 15th at Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Ronnie Childers and Bro. Brian Fannin. Burial will follow in the Lyons Cemetery at Charley, Kentucky.

So very sorry to hear that Everett has passed away. I used to live closeto his family up on charley.i was just looking through some obits from Lawrence Co and just happen to see his. Again am very sorry he has passed away.

My very wonderful papaw will be greatly missed. I am feeling the sting of him being gone so much. I miss his call every day. I was a papaw's girl and for any one who had such a great papaw, you surely do understand my grief. Pap, you will be greatly missed. I love you and thank you for being such a great person and papaw.
