Bertha Hayes Dooley Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1926 - 2008 Bertha Hayes Dooley 81 of Louisa, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Thursday November 6th. Bertha was born November 10, 1926 in Lawrence County, the daughter of the late Carl and Gracie Stambaugh Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Dooley who died in 1988. She was homemaker and member of the Belles Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include her step mother Jean Hayes, 2 Sisters Evelyn Adams and Bonnie Sue Hayes, and 3 Brothers Carl Thomas Hayes, Carl Wayne Hayes, and Willie Gene Hayes. Funeral services were conducted by Dr. James A. Hayes and Rev. Jimmy Bevins on Sunday November 9th at 2:00 pm at the Belles Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Hayes Cemetery at Ulysses, Kentucky.

I love you all very much! Where does time go? Seems like yesterday she and Dewey were getting married. Time flies by so fast. Mae was the sweetest, kindest, and caring person. No matter when or where you saw her she would give you a big bear hug. If there's anytime you need me just call. I love you all.
