1918 - 2009
 Della Kathryn "Mamaw" Arrington 90 of Blaine, Ky. went to be with her Lord on Sunday morning January 18, 2009.
Della was born September 16, 1918 at Flat Gap, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Milt and Nancy Kathryn Slone Harris. She was a homemaker and member of the Hoods Fork United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Arrington who died October 4, 1991, a daughter Juanita West, six brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Rita Lynn and Dennis Smith, two sons and daughter-in-laws Kenneth and Edna Arrington and Chuck and Ruby Arrington, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Roger Jordan, Rev. Rick Cordial, and Rev. Elmer Burchwell on Wednesday January 21st at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sparks Cemetery at Blaine, Kentucky.

Rita....Chuck, Ruby, Kate, Ken, Edna, and families,
I am so very sorry to read of Della's passing. I didn't learn of it, until after the day of her funeral. Della was always the sweetest, kindest, and frienliest, Lady. She always treated everyone with respect, and set the Christ-like example we needed . I want you to know, you are in my prayers. Rita, call, plz...I'm in the book.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in the loss of your precious mother. I know how you feel...and its not always easy. Just remember she is in a better place where there is no pain and suffering.
