Liss Marcum 50 of Wellington, Kentucky formerly of Louisa went to be with his Lord on Tuesday February 24, 2009.
Liss was born July 8, 1958 in Williamson, WV, the son of the late Earl and Lena Dingess Marcum. He was a disabled coal miner and member of the Church of Christ Danridge, Kentucky. He loved his family, bluegrass music, and his church.
He is survived by his loving wife Edgaretta Conn Marcum, three daughters Angela and husband James Patrick, Julie Ann Deyo all of Louisa, Kentucky and Sarah Marcum of Wellington, Ky., three sons Christopher Allen Deyo of Louisa, Ky., Mark Anthony Marcum and wife Erica of Corryton, TN, and Christopher Landon Marcum of Wellington, KY, two brothers Bob Marcum of Louisa, KY, and Kennedy Marcum of Fort Gay, WV and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Revs. Jessie Spaulding and Paul Keeton on Saturday February 28th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, Kentucky. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday at the Danridge Church of Christ at Dandridge, Kentucky and after 6:00 pm Friday at Wilson Funeral Home.
