1928 - 2009

Andy  YorkAndy York 81 of Lebanon, Ohio formerly of Louisa went to be with his Lord on Saturday April 4th 2009.

Andy was born January 16, 1928 at Chatteroy, WV, the son of the late Julius and Sue Gibson York. He was also preceded in death by four sisters Sarah Millard, Mary Justice, Georgina Tackett, and Myrtle Caperton, and three brothers Sidney York, Earl York, and James H. York.

Andy was a supervisor for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad, a ordained deacon at the First Southern Baptist Church of Johnstown, Ohio, a member of the Disaster Relief Team, a member of the Lebanon Chapter 5 and Apperson Chapter 195 Free and Accepted Masons, and served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Frances Fayetta Fleming York, a daughter Kathryn York Harris, two sons Vance and Mark York, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday April 9th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home by Bro. Jimmy Cooksey. Burial followed in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Louisa.

It's good to know Andy is home with the Lord, but he will be missed by those left behind. He was my cousin and his brother Hap and I spent a lot of time together when we were teenagers. I trust the Lord to give Andy's family members peace and good memories to sustain them.
