Marie Nelson Bradley 86 of Meades Branch Louisa, went to be with her Lord on Saturday May 2, 2009.
Marie was born November 26, 1922 at Meades Branch, the daughter of the late Charles and Lula Hickman Nelson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Edgar Warren Bradley who died in 1957, a son Jimmy Bradley, a sister Dorothy Stevens, brothers Clyde, Delbert, Pete, Eugene Nelson, and special nephews Billy Gene Kise and Charles Hubert Nelson.
Marie was a long-time restaurant owner and was known to her many customers and friends as the KY Lady. She enjoyed being like their mom away from home.
She is survived by her loving children, daughter Carole Sue Fugitt of Meades Branch and son Eddie Bill Bradley also of Meades Branch, a brother John Nelson of Columbus, Ohio, grandchildren Emily (Lee) Butler, Bill (Margie) Bradley, Dean (Susie) Bradley, Missy Bradley, Glenn Fugitt, Greg (Kelli) Fugitt, Shana (Eric) Meek, and Jamie (Jeremy) Pack; great grandchildren Andrea Butler, Jessica Miller, Kayla Bradley, Kim Bradley, Jon Bradley, Joziah, Jalison, Brianna, J.C. Fugitt, Lakeisha Fugitt, Greg Russell Fugitt, Latana Fugitt, Paylin Meek, Evan Meek, and Kobe Pack; three Great Great Grandchildren; two step Grand Daughters Bobbi Fannin and Dee Kise, four Step Great Grandchildren Keith Fannin, Anissa Fannin, Deedra Kise, and Blayne Brewer.
Graveside memorial services were held on Tuesday May 5th at 1:00 pm at the Greenlawn Cemetery Louisa, Ky. by Dr. James A. Hayes. Interment in the cemetery followed.
