Howard G. Borders Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1940 - 2009 Howard G. Borders 68 of Ulysses, Ky. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 12, 2009. Howard was born Nov. 27, 1940 at Johnson County Kentucky, the son of the late Glen and Carmie Brickles Borders. He was a truck driver, and member of the Borders Chapel United Methodist Church and a United States Army Veteran. Survivors include his wife Barbara Thompson Borders, a son Robert and fiance' Donna VanHorn, two sisters Vivian Helms and Joyce Rivet, two brothers Virgil Pride and Joseph L. Borders, and a grand daughter Tielar Raine Wheeler. He was preceded in death by a sister Doris Borders. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday May 14th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Dan Fredericks and Pastor Frank Buskirk. Burial followed in the Borders Chapel Cemetery at Ulysses, Kentucky.
