William Ray Gillum William Ray Gillum 58 of Martha, Ky. Passed away on Wednesday August 26, 2009 at the Hospice of Huntington.

Ray was born July 21, 1951 at Terryville, Ky., the son of the late Alvin and Pauline Ferguson Gillum. He was a concrete finisher and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents two brothers Kenneth and James Gillum precede him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife Barbara Newhart Gillum, three daughters Lisa and husband Gil Chapa and Melissa and husband Nathan Kilgore, and Nichole Gillum; a son and daughter in law Alvin and Tiffany Gillum; two sisters Iretha Keaton and Christina McKenzie; two brothers Arthur and Christopher Gillum; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday August 30th at 1:00 pm at the Elizabeth Baptist Church by Bro. Arthur Gillum Jr. and Bro. Jerry Sparks. Burial will follow in the Gillum Family Cemetery at Martha, Kentucky.
