Emma Jane Sluss Boyd 59 of Louisa, passed away on Saturday October 10, 2009 at her home following a sudden illness.
Emma was born Nov. 7, 1949 at Richardson, KY, the daughter of the late Vernon and Missouri Price Sluss. She was a former employee of J.J. Jordan Geriatric Center, a homemaker, and member of the Richardson Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Paul Boyd, a daughter and son-in-law Jannie and Bobby Skeens, a son and daughter-in-law Michael and Tammy Boyd, two sisters Connie Boyd and Colleen Griffith, three brothers Hershel, Carter and Vernon Sluss Jr., four grandchildren Whitney and husband Keith Harris, Michael Curtis Boyd, David Boyd and Brandon Skeens, and a Great Grandson Landon Harris
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Charles Price on Tuesday Oct. 13th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sluss Cemetery at Richardson, KY.
