Herbert Daniel Wilks 62 of Diamond Ridge Road Webbville, Ky. Went to be with his Lord on Wednesday January 6, 2010.
Herb was born in Lawrence County on August 24, 1947, the son of the late Dan and Georgia Bishop Wilks. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Herbert Austin Wilks, four sisters Bethel Sanson, Doris Fridley, Ann Perry, & Mary Johnson; four brothers Paul Wilks, Kenny Wilks, Clayton Wilks, and Leslie Wilks.
Survivors include his loving wife Elizabeth Rose Stevens Wilks, two sisters Dorothy Williams and Lilian Beach, and two brothers Phillip Steven and Harvey Wayne Wilks.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Roy Adams on Friday January 8th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Wilks-Bishop Cemetery at Webbville, Kentucky.
