Rev. Gordon Monroe McCoy Click for Condolences      Printable Version
1940 - 2010

Rev. Gordon Monroe McCoy 69 went to be with his Lord on Sunday morning January 17, 2010. Gordon was born March 9, 1940 at Buchannan, VA, the son of the late Henry and Phronsie Runyon McCoy. He was a glass glazier, member of the Fallsburg Tabernacle, and served in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by a Grand Daughter Naria Robinson and a brother Bobby McCoy.

Survivors include his loving wife Donna Bellomy McCoy, two daughters and son-in-laws Madeline and William Simpson of Pasadena, Texas, Diane and Timmy Robinson of Fallsburg, KY; three sons David McCoy and wife Elva of Webbville, KY, Donald McCoy and wife Darlene of Fallsburg, KY, and Thomas McCoy also of Fallsburg, KY; seven sisters Mildred Taylor of Crum, WV, Helen Thompson of Arlington, VA, Grace Fields of Grayson, KY, Manie Opell of Louisa, KY, Gladys Skeens of Louisa, KY, Jeannie Meade of Louisa, KY, and Elaine Shortridge of Fallsburg, KY, a brother Jake McCoy of Fallsburg, KY, and seven Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday January 20th at 1:00 pm at the Fallsburg Tabernacle by Rev. Bobby Workman. Burial will follow in the McCoy Family Cemetery at Fallsburg, KY.

Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Fallsburg Tabernacle.
