Carl Henry Lambert born July 23, 1928 at Zelda, Kentucky the son of the late Henry and Ella Ferguson Lambert. Carl went to be with his Lord on Wednesday January 20, 2010. In addition to his parents Carl was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Hazlett and cousin Robert Ferguson both of Zelda. Also preceded in death by daughter Karletti Dane Salmons and son Kenneth Bryan Lambert. Carl retired from Chandlers Plywood, Huntington and the Army National Guard. He served in the United States Army during Korea.
Carl is survived by wife of 57 years Helen Louise Blakeman Lambert, a son Jeffrey Allen Lambert of Henderson, Kentucky, daughter Carla Duncan of Huntington, son-in-law Rodney and son Gregory Allen Lambert of Taylors, South Carolina, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Jeff Lambert on Saturday January 23rd at 11:00 am at the Buchannan Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the Buchannan Chapel Cemetery at Zelda, Kentucky. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday at the Buchannon Chapel Church.
