Samantha Magdalene Stephens Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1924 - 2010 Samantha Magdalene Sparks Stephens 86 went to be with her Lord on Saturday morning May 1, 2010. Mrs. Stephens was born March 12, 1924 in Lawrence County, the daughter of the late Willie and Bertha Barker Sparks. She was a homemaker and member of the Enterprise Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Okie Stephens, two sisters Imogene Collier and Eilene Sparks. Survivors are a son Edsal Stephens, a grand daughter Christina Workman, three sisters Nancy Sparks, Erma Skaggs, and Evalene Sparks; and two brothers Noah and Conard Sparks. Funeral services were conducted on Monday May 3rd at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Bonda Salyers. Burial followed in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa, Kentucky.

Dear Edsel and Pam, Please accept my deepest condolences in the loss of your presious Mother. She was always ready to carry on a friendly conversation and I looked forward to visiting with her as well as my own Mother. She will truly be missed by those who tended to her needs there at JJ's as well as myself. You and Pam are a son and daughter in law to be proud of. You were always there to see to her needs and check on her welfare daily. She was most proud of you both. You will be remembered in our prayers as you go through this difficult time. Glenda Dotson
