Bro. Billy Ray Salyer 57 of Blaine, KY. Passed away Friday August 27, 2010 following a brief illness.
Billy was born Sept. 30, 1952 at Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Raymond and Delphia Cox Salyer. He was a retired fire chief for the Blaine Fire Dept., a Baptist Minister, and a disabled United States Marine Veteran.
Survivors include his wife Mary Salyer of Blaine, a son Billy Salyer Jr. also of Blaine, a Daughter Tonya Wright of Van Lear, KY, a sister Evelyn Justice of Blaine, four brothers Jerry Salyer of London, OH, Larry Salyer of Columbus, Oh, Tim Salyer of Martha, KY, and Paul Salyer of Red Bush, KY, five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday August 30th at 2:00 pm at the Blaine Hill Baptist Church by Bro. Raymond Osborne and Bro. Mike Roberts. Burial will follow in the Edwards Cemetery at Blaine, Ky. Friends may call after 4:00 pm Sunday at the Blaine Hill Baptist Church.
