1946 - 2011
 Tommy Eugene Cook 64 of Cherryville passed away Saturday April 23, 2011 at his home following a brief illness. Tommy was born June 6, 1946 at Louisa, KY, the son of Mabel Vanhoose Cook and the late Ben P. Cook. In addition to his father Tommy was preceded in death by a brother Randall Cook.
Tommy was a maintance employee for Macy-Federated Stores and served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War.
Survivors include his mother, two daughters Carmeta Twinam and husband Earl and Sherry Cook; two sisters Sharon Ratliff and Pam Bartlett, a brother Lonnie Cook, a sister in law Nancy Cook, six grandchildren Earl (Whitney) Twinam, Tommy (Heather) Twinam, Natashia (Tyler) Siebert, Anthony Hersman, Austin Hersman, and Autumn Hersman; three great grandchildren Haley Twinam, Tommy Twinam II, and Lacy Twinam, a special friend Patricia Rodes.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Tommy Meade on Wednesday April 27th at noon at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in the North Eastern Veterans Cemetery at Ashland, KY.

Sad to loose our nephew Tommy. Too many memories and great things to say about him here. Glad he found The Lord in the end His smile and laughter will be missed. Sympathy to Mabel and family. God be with you during this time. Hope everyone made their peace.

I am so sorry to hear about my 1st cousin Tommy. We were very close growing up but I moved across country and I am sorry I have not seen him in a long time. My prayers are with all of you. Wish I could be there, but I am still far away.

I am so sorry about Tommy- he was my best buddy/cousin when I was a teanager; wrote to him and was "pen pals" while he was in the Army. Sorry we lived so far away, as with all the family.

To Pat and Family, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Tom. I worked with him at Macys's and I had known him for years. I will always remember his joking and humor. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
