Willie Faye (Borders) Childers 69 of Louisa, KY went to be with her Lord on Sunday May 15, 2011 following a brief illness.
Willie Faye was born January 30, 1942 at Paintsville, KY, the daughter of the late Willie and Sarilda Murray Borders. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Childers who died in 2000, two sisters Shelby Jean Borders and Kathryn Borders, and a brother Johnny Borders.
Survivors include two daughters Marsha Fannin of Louisa, and Shawna (Donald) McKinney of Richardson, KY, a son Joey (Amy) Childers of Richardson, KY, six grandchildren Charity Fannin, Kimberly Fannin, Casey Childers, Kailtin Todd, Kyle Fannin, and Kelsley McKinney; three great grandchildren Zachary Fannin, Jordan Stephens, and Todd Bradyn, two brothers Larry Borders of Louisa and Wendell Borders of River, KY.
Bros Tommy Meade and Tommy Vanhoose will conduct funeral services on Wednesday May 18th at 1:00 pm at the Richardson Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Childers Cemetery at Richardson, KY. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Tuesday May 17th at Wilson Funeral Home.
