To the entire immediate and extended Marcum Family (which includes anyone who put their feet under Aunt Evadean's table): we wish you peace. Aunt Evadean is the embodiment of unconditional love which she lavishly shared with all she encountered.
She has gone home to the Lord who received her with open arms, requested some shucky beans, and is delighted she is there to keep an eye on Uncle Lafe.

To the Marcum Family: Thanks to my friendship with Vicki from our military days in Germany, I have known your Mom and Dad for over 23 years. The love and respect that I have for your parents is as if they were my own parents. They have always shown me and my family the love as if we were a part of the family. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and my heart breaks for your loss.

To all the family, my sincerist sympathies.
I had heard so much of this woman but had never had the privilege of meeting her in the flesh except through the eyes of her son Lafe and her granddaughter Amanda. I trust that one day I will meet her in glory and encourage you to trust the same. May God comfort you as you share in the memories of her life, looking forward to the day when we shall see her again. Amen
