 Joe L. Austin 75 of Ulysses, KY passed away Sunday August 14, 2011.
Joe was born June 9, 1936 in Louisa, KY, the son of the late Charlie and Estelene Graves Austin. He was a UMWA Local 2286 heavy equipment operator. He served in the United States Marine Corp.
Survivors include his wife Faith Miller Austin; four daughters Angela Cave of Missouri, Stephanie and husband William Adams of Louisa, Kimberly Austin also of Louisa, and Melanie and husband Billy York of Paintsville, KY; seven grandchildren Joey, Tim, Brett, Kevin, Rusty, Seth, and Tyler; eight great grandchildren Haley, Blake, Zachery, Kyle, Brandon, Ava, Colton, and Hannah.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Rick May on Friday August 19th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Entombment at Yatesville Memorial Gardens will follow with military rites conducted by members of W. O. Johnson American Legion Post 89 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6103.
Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday August 18th at Wilson Funeral Home.

Faith Ann, Angie, Kim, Stephanie and Melanie - I am so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. Uncle Joe always had a smile on his face or was laughing. I will remember him always being happy and making everyone around him happy too. I will not be able to make it to the services this week but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
