1916 - 2011
 Glenna Mae Hughes 94 of Louisa went to be with her Lord on Friday morning October 7, 2011.
Mrs. Hughes was born November 21, 1916 in Boyd County, KY, the daughter of the late Carlos and Bertha Ann Barber Sparks. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Estill Hughes who died in 1956 and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Hughes was a homemaker and member of the Louisa Church of God.
Survivors include four daughters Opal Muncy of Louisa, KY, Audrey (Elmer) Frazier of Ashland, KY, Peggy (Pete) Wears of Columbus, OH, and Alberta Hughes of Louisa, KY; five sons Arnold Buddy (Gerldine) Hughes of Loraine, OH, Bobby (Carol) Hughes of Greenup, KY, Thomas (Carla) Hughes of Columbus, OH, Estill (Brenda) Hughes of Southport, N.C., and Donald (Chris) Hughes of Orient, OH; 28 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, 26 great great grandchildren, and a brother Robertson Jackson of Toledo, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday October 10th at 2:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home by Bro. Paul Stepp. Burial will follow in the Isaac Cemetery at Louisa.
Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home.

Sis. Hughes was a Godly women who raised her family to know to serve the Lord. She is not gone, she has just moved up. One of these days we will all be together again. Thank you Jesus for the lives she touched along the way. I pray the Lord to comfort each of you in His own special way. Love to all. The Kirk Family

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Glenna Mae as a child and how much I enjoyed being around her. My Daddy thought alot of her. Now they are in Heaven together. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
