 Betty Jean Hammonds, age 78, of Webbville died Friday, January 13, 2012 at home in Webbville. Betty was born April 29, 1933 in Hitchen, KY. She is the daughter of the late Sylvia (Savage) Parsley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Herbert Hammonds who died in 2008.
She was a Homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters: Sylvia Wellman of Webbville, Peanut (Don) Daniels of Blaine, KY, Phylliss (Andre) Tackett of Columbus, Ohio, and Sharon Brown also of Webbville; a son John D. Hammonds of Willard, KY, a step son Tony Belcher; 10 grandchildren, 12 Step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 17 step grandchildren, and a step great great grandson.
The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Monday, January 16 at Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church, Webbville, KY with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Burial will be in Kitchen Cemetery, Willard, KY
Friends may call after 6:00 pm Sunday at the Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church.
