Edath Mae Conley, age 76, of River, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at home in River. Edath was born August 1, 1935 in Charley, KY. She is the daughter of the late Farris and the late Nova (Stambaugh) Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burns Conley Jr. who died in 1978.
She was a retired food service worker and member for 66 years of the Belles Chapel FWB Church.
She is survived by two daughters: O'Shara Lemaster of River, KY, Anita Stevens of River, KY; one sister: Ruby Vanhoose of River, KY and four brothers: Fred Hayes of Smyrna, GA, James A Hayes of Louisa, KY, Bert Hayes of Louisa, KY, Earl Hayes of Charley, KY; she also has five grandchildren. son-in-law, Rick Lemaster of River, KY; son-in-law, Scotty Stevens of River, KY;
The funeral will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Belles Chapel FWB Church, Louisa, KY with Revs.Willie Gene Hayes, Shane Fyffe, and Jimmy Vanhoose officiating. Burial will follow in the Conley Cemetery River, KY.
