Alma Jean York, age 78, of Louisa died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Community Hospice Care Center of Ashland, KY. Alma was born June 24, 1933 in Dingess, WV. She is the daughter of the late George and the late Anna (Pack) Mullins.
She was a retired cook for the Pic Pac and Louisa Foodland.
She is survived by two daughters: Lucille Chapman of Louisa, KY, Barbara Lawson of Rogerville, TN and four sons: Buddy Moore of Louisa, KY, Ricky Moore of Louisa, KY, Eddie Moore of Louisa, KY, Mke York of Louisa, KY; four sisters: Jessie Oliger of Jackson, OH, Joyce Young of Webbville, KY, Judy Chaney of Louisa, KY, Zola Young of Louisa, KY and one brother: James Pack of Louisa, KY; She also has eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. 6 Step Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her sisters, Velma Robinett, and Barbara Ethridge.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Monday, April 9 at Wilson Funeral Home . Burial will be in Chapman Cemetery, Louisa.
Calling hours will be Sunday, April 8 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
