I just reread what people thought of leslie and I thank each and every onei miss her so bad it gets harder every yr that I don't c her r hear her voice I know she ment a lot to a lot of people

Leslie was my classmate my first memory of her was when we were in 3rd grade. Losing a classmate is/always like losing a family member. We were family...most of our days while in school was growing with our classmates 8 hours of the day. My heart goes out to the family and you will be missed. The family is is my prayers.

JACKIE SO VERY VERY SORRY ABOUT YOUR LOSS !!! HAD NO IDEA TODAY WAS THE FUNERAL OR I WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE.U DO KNOW THAT WE THOUGHT ALOT OF YOUR LESLIE? Jackie, I'll always remember Leslie, she was always laughing when she came in the shop, Her and Little Boy was always cutting up about something. So sorry for your lost, our prayers are with you and your family.

We were classmates. I can't ever remember when Leslie didn't have a smile on her face. She had such a wonderful & tremendous spirit! My favorite memory of her is when we were in high school, her boyfriend got up & sang "Tell Leslie I love Her". (an old Keith Whitley that he changed the name from Lori to Leslie) She was so shocked & excited! All who knew her loved her! God bless & keep you all through this sad time.

I am so sorry to hear about Leslie. She was a wonderful person always had a smile on her face and was a great fellow employee. We worked together at Lowe's in Jasper for a while. She was always so happy and full of life. My prayers are with the family and friends of Leslie. May God Bless each one of you and help you through this trying time. You will be truly missed Leslie, and until we meet again, save a place for me girl! Love ya!

Leslie West Trahan 39 of Jasper died at her home March 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held at Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory in Jasper, TX. on Thursday March 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Brookeland Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday March 28, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Forest Oaks Funeral Home. A native of Lafayette, LA. she was a lifelong resident of Jasper, TX. Leslie was a 1991 graduate of the Jasper High School she was recently employed with Express Quick Lube in Jasper, TX. A Volunteer Fire Fighter in East Texas. Survivors include a Grandmother Blanche Glawson Burns of DamB, TX. Step grandfather James W. Burns Jr. Special friend Daniel Stephens of Shamrock, TX. Mother Jackie Wilkerson of Jasper, TX. Step-Daughters Deidra Lawson and Tarrance Shaw of Jasper, TX. Cassandra Lawson of Jasper, TX., Christina Lawson and Micheal Whitehead of Washington, D.C. Aunts Robbie Jo Read of Kountze, TX. and Bobbie Sue Carter of Warren, TX. Sister Brenda Burns of Fred, TX.
