Betty Pixley 78 of Jasper, TX. died at Rayburn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Thursday October 4, 2012.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 6, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel at Forest Oaks Funeral Home with private interment to follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Tyler County. Family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday. A native of Tyler County, TX. she was a graduate of the Colmesneil High School and had been a healthcare provider until retiring several years ago. She has lived in Jasper since 2002 and is a current member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Jasper, TX. Survivors include sons Billy Wayne and wife Malinda Widner of Colmesneil, TX. and Andrew Lee Pixley of Minnesota. Daughters Shirley Sue Solly of Dallas, TX. and Patsy Ruth Mazeikas of Jasper, TX. a sister Dolly Demple Julian of Lufkin, TX. grandchildren Tricia, Julie, Melissa, Andy, Shannon, Angela, Lindsey, Billy and Crystal.
