 Robert Milton Powell Sr. 98 of Jasper died at Rayburn Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Jasper, TX. on November 10, 2012. Funeral services will be held at Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory in Jasper, TX. at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 13, 2012 with interment to follow in the Kirbyville Cemetery. Family will greet friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. A native of Kirbyville, TX. and longtime resident of Lumberton, TX. he moved to the Harrisburg Community in 2004. A former employee of Gulf Oil Co. he retired in 1978 as a operator. Survivors include his wife Fannie Sheffield Powell whom he married February 11, 1938. A son Robert M. "Bobby" Powell Jr. of Las Vegas, NV. and a daughter Patricia Adams of the Harrisburg Community Four grandchildren and Ten great grandchildren.
